Avantax Ltd
Cookies Policy
Last updated: 22.07.2026
This policy explains how Avantax uses cookies and similar browser storage on the homepage and landing pages.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember choices or help a website operate and measure usage.
Essential storage
- avantax-lang and avantax-landing-lang remember whether you selected English or Polish. They remain until browser storage is cleared and do not create an advertising profile.
- avantax-cookie-preferences records your separate choices for analytics, Calendly and Google Maps together with the consent-policy version and date. It remains until you change it or clear browser storage.
- Security, hosting and form-delivery providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect the service. Essential technologies cannot be disabled through our website because requested functionality may not work without them.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics is loaded only if you enable Analytics. It may receive pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details and interactions. Avantax does not use Google Analytics for advertising on this website. Refusing analytics does not restrict access.
- _ga — first-party analytics cookie used to distinguish website visitors; default lifetime up to 2 years.
- _ga_<measurement-id> — first-party analytics cookie used to maintain session state; default lifetime up to 2 years.
- Google may process analytics data outside the UK under its own privacy terms and the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
Calendly and Google Maps
Calendly and Google Maps have separate controls. Their frames remain blocked until you enable the relevant service. If enabled, your IP address, device information and interaction data are sent to that provider and it may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Because third-party cookie names and durations can change, check the provider policy linked from the embedded service for its current list. The Bright client portal, WhatsApp and other external links are contacted only when you choose to open them.
Managing and withdrawing your choices
Use the Cookie settings button shown on the homepage and landing pages to enable or disable Analytics, Calendly and Google Maps separately. Rejecting is available as directly as accepting. When analytics is withdrawn, Avantax disables further Google Analytics collection and attempts to remove its first-party analytics cookies. You can also clear browser storage in browser settings. Withdrawal cannot undo lawful processing that occurred before it.
